Urban Route

We will start by visiting the Minucipal Cultural Center located on Raziel Street. Then we will walk the length of Herzl Street and we will observe the magnificent graffiti paintings on buildings along the street. We will continue to the new Independence Square – the interactive Square, and enjoy the pedestrian street and the lively cafes on both sides. We will visit  Pninat Shivtei Israel Museum (the Museum for the Yemenite Jewish Heritage) located on Independence Square. From there  we will go north in the direction of Shaked promenade and reach the “Galleria Al Hatzuk” (the Cliff Gallery). Our route will end with moments of peace and tranquility on the spectacular Promenades stretching along the sandstone cliffs or, alternatively, on one of Netanya’s amazing beaches.

Nature route

The starting point is the promenades and the gardens that stretch out along the sandstone cliffs that line the shore. Breathe in the fresh salty air and continue towards the Iris reserve located in the southern part of the city. In the Iris Reserve one can find hundreds of argaman (purple) irises (Iris atropurpurea) which bloom in February and March.

Historic Route

Walking tour. The starting point is the sycamore tree on Mintz Street. Here we will find an impressive 1,000 year old sycamore tree with a circumference of 8 meters. We continue through municipal public buildings (cultural center), and through the colorful market, passing through Zion Square that housed the first hotel in Netanya – Hotel Eden. We will pass by the mythological Sharon Cinema house.
