The Netanya - Kibbutz Orchestra

A renowned orchestra that has earned a unique and respectful standing among the orchestras in Israel, as an energetic ensemble that brings fresh and varied musical experiences to the concert hall. The orchestra performs over 120 concert yearly and for 45 years, it has been the only orchestra that most of its activities lie in the periphery. It consists of concerts for subscribers and general audiences, in 8 concerts halls spread all over the country: from Nahariya, Mizra, Beit Gavriel in the Jordan Valley, through Ein Hachoresh, Netanya, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Givat Brener to Dorot in the Negev. In its programs the orchestra hosts each year renowned Israeli and foreign soloists and presents a varied repertoire that includes newly dressed works in addition to Classical works, maintaining balance and uncompromising excellence. The orchestra is highly esteemed by musicians and was rated 5 – the highest grade of Excellency by the Ministry of Culture. Its high standard and original programs places it with the leading orchestras in Israel.

National Monument

Netanya Municipality in conjunction with the Prime Minister's Office, United Israel Appeal and the Russian Jewish Congress, has erected the National Monument Commemorating the Victory of the Red Army over Nazi Germany on the city's sea shores.
