An agreement on cooperation and friendship between the city of Netanya and the Kurortny district was signed on 09.11.17 by the head of the district Mr. Alexey V. Kuimov and the mayor of Netanya Mrs. Miriam Fierberg-Ikar.
The district of Korortny is a green lung of the city of St. Petersburg, with a soft marine climate surrounded by green and spectacular forests. The district borders the Gulf of Finland and attracts many vacationers and tourists. It has a large number of sanatoriums, luxury health clubs, restaurants, impressive housing units and more. The district includes 11 small towns and villages, nature reserves and sites of culture and history.
