The Twin City Agreement between Netanya and Panama City was signed on 27 June 2016. The agreement was signed by Miriam Fierberg-Ikar, Mayor of Netanya, and José Isabel Blandón Figueroa, Mayor of Panama City.

The Twin City Agreement between Netanya and Panama City promotes cooperation in the fields of culture, education, tourism, economy, trade, youth, and community development, while encouraging delegation exchanges, professional knowledge sharing, and the development of joint initiatives for the benefit of both cities.
