Tremolo is one of Israel’s leading cultural institutions and an internationally acclaimed percussion ensemble. Performing worldwide—from the United States to the Far East—Tremolo collaborates with artists and organizations across music, theatre, dance, literature, and other artistic disciplines.
The ensemble has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Partosh Prize from the Israeli Ministry of Culture (2017) for the performance of an Israeli composition, the Binyamini Prize (2021) as Israel’s Outstanding Ensemble, and First Prize at the FdG International Competition in Russia (2022).
Founded by Tomer Yariv, Lior Tal, Daniel Solomonov, Dafna Segal, and Tomer Galili, Tremolo’s repertoire ranges from classical music and world music to early popular music and contemporary works of the 21st century.
Established in 2012 in Netanya by Tomer Yariv, with the support of the Netanya Municipality and the Netanya Cultural Center Foundation, the Tremolo Center for Percussion Arts was created to place percussion instruments at the forefront of Israel’s musical landscape, in line with international trends.
Today, the center serves as a vibrant artistic ecosystem where musicians, composers, educators, students, and creators from diverse artistic fields collaborate, inspire one another, and cultivate new generations of percussionists and audiences. Tremolo has become an integral part of Netanya’s dynamic cultural scene, helping establish the city as one of Israel’s leading cultural destinations.
