The municipal galleries located in the Netanya City Hall building – the Council Gallery and the Engineering Gallery – host changing exhibitions throughout the year. The exhibitions feature works in a variety of fields, including painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, ceramics, mixed media and other artistic techniques.
The participating artists are members of the Netanya Artists Association, which currently represents approximately 100 local artists working in a wide range of styles and artistic movements. In addition to the exhibitions at City Hall, their works are displayed in other exhibition spaces throughout the city, including the Gallery on the Cliff and the foyer of the Netanya Cultural Center.
The Netanya Artists Association promotes art and creativity in the city through exhibitions, workshops, lectures and additional cultural activities. Its aim is to introduce the public to the work of Netanya’s artists and encourage local artistic creation.
