Swimming, biking, running – will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, starting at 6:30 a.m. at the Argaman Beach.
The public is invited to watch and cheer. Between 5:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., the following routes will be closed to traffic:
Sderot Ben Gurion to the north: the section between Chavatzelet and Simcha Erlich streets.
Towards the south: the section between the Shor Square (near the Carmel hotel) to chavatelet HaChof street.
Sderot Ben-Ami: in both directions – the section between Simcha Erlich street and the Carmel Hotel.
Simcha Erlich street: in both directions – the section between Sderot Ben Gurion and Sderot Ben Ami.
• It will be possible to exit from the Galei Yam neighborhood through the southern route in an orderly fashion.
Shalom Aleichem Street: in both directions – the section between Chavatzelet HaChof street and Sderot Ben Gurion.
• The residents of the Tayelet Street will be allowed to exit only through Sderot Ben Gurion.
• The residents of the Irusim neighborhood will be allowed to exit only through Sderot Ben Zvi, in accordance to the instruction of local attendants and signs in the area.
The streets closure will prohibit vehicle entry completely, including vehicles of the residents of the streets listed above as well as vehicles on duty. The public is asked to use alternate routes and to obey the instruction of present police and attendants.
