A musical play written and directed by Tzvia Huberman.
The year is 1942. The world is burning and Tel Aviv has dozens of bustling and rowdy entertainment venues. The Ritz Café is considered one of the most popular entertainment venues, frequented by a diverse audience of British officers, wealthy Arabs and Jews who fled Europe. The Ritz’s entertainment shows are taken directly from films of the era and offer moments of sanity and hope. Against this backdrop, a plot full of twists and turns unfolds, involving passions, betrayals, lies and a larger-than-life love story.
A story of turbulent, fascinating times and women trying to make a living through entertainment while the world around them burns. Combining the biggest hits from the blockbuster films of the time.
