The main event will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM, at the Netanya Cultural Center, with the opening of a large-scale art exhibition titled “Miriam’s Song.”
The exhibition is dedicated to the life, work and legacy of Netanya’s legendary mayor, Miriam Feirberg-Ikar (of blessed memory), who served for approximately 27 years and had a profound impact on shaping the city.
The exhibition is designed as a multi-layered space combining historical photographs, original documents, video footage, audio testimonies, and personal and public objects.
Visitors are invited on a chronological and thematic journey through the milestones of Feirberg-Ikar’s life alongside the key stages in Netanya’s development into a thriving central city in Israel.
Through a contemporary curatorial language, the exhibition explores women’s leadership, urban vision, and public dedication, placing Feirberg-Ikar’s personal story as an integral part of the city’s and the nation’s narrative.
Free admission – the public is invited
