At the BAYZ Restaurant, meet Tal Raz – “The Turtle Whisperer”, who will share the remarkable story of Israel’s sea turtles. Through personal experiences, rare underwater footage and inspiring rescue stories, you’ll discover the rich biodiversity of the Mediterranean Sea, meet the loggerhead and green sea turtles living around the Bat Galim reef in Haifa, and learn how each of us can help protect the marine environment.
About the Speaker
Tal Raz is an environmental activist and lecturer dedicated to strengthening the connection between people and the sea through storytelling, education and inspiration.
She leads the individual identification and documentation project for the sea turtles of the Bat Galim reef and actively promotes the conservation of Israel’s marine habitats.
