What happens under the water? Who lives among the plants? And how can your family help the stream thrive? The City of Netanya invites families to an experiential programme at Nahal Poleg (the Poleg Stream) – six sessions of curiosity, discovery, games and hands-on activity in nature.
What awaits you:
- Nature walks, exploration games and photo missions
- Water experiments and meeting the stream’s creatures
- Getting to know the animals and habitats around the stream
- Hands-on activities for the stream and the environment
- Riddles, navigation and a treasure hunt
- A closing community celebration for all the families
Every child will receive a personal nature journal and collect stamps in it along the way. Families who complete all the missions will earn the title “Poleg Stream Ambassadors”.
Session dates (Thursdays, 16:00–18:00): 3.12.2026, 7.1.2027, 4.2.2027, 4.3.2027, 1.4.2027, 6.5.2027
Cost: 50 ₪ per family per session, or 200 ₪ for all six sessions (instead of 300 ₪).
The activities are in Hebrew.
