Curator’s statement:
Art with an exclamation mark, as the name suggests, and at the same time we see here a hidden potential for many more things.
Art can be considered in !!!!!!, as a significant unequivocal declaration as to what you want to say about art, its importance, or the opposite, its meaning, its contribution, its struggle, its voice, its emotions, its intrigues. The values and benefits.
In addition, one can also see an allusion in the words ‘sign’ or ‘exclamation mark’, or on the contrary ‘question mark’, and use the signs themselves as material, content and form.
Art with an exclamation mark – not as a simple but as a requirement, is the connection between the visual language and the verbal language, the connection between read texts and visible texts, between a written text and its interpretation and a visual creative form. It is possible to see a simultaneous combination between writing and form, writing and image – writing within a work, or writing as a work. It is possible to refer to verbal contents and correspond with you formally. And if we are dealing with writing – reading, you can also think about the direction of books – physically and conceptually.
