Classes/courses in science and astronomy for children

Planetanya, the Maderama Center for Science, Space and Culture was founded two years ago as a learning and educational center, one of the main goals of which is to enrich knowledge and encourage science and space studies.

In the next academic year, new courses will be opened for children in science and astronomy.

TACTICS courses are annual courses based on creative, technological and scientific thinking with which your children will receive tools and ways of thinking to deal with challenges – in robotics, engineering and inventive thinking:

• Laboratory course – introduction to engineering and early robotics for kindergarten children (over the age of 5)
• Tactics Kids – Introduction to Robotics and Inventive Thinking for 1st and 2nd graders
• Robotics and Introduction to Programming for 3rd and 4th graders

Astronomy and aerospace courses that enable foster curiosity, perseverance, seriousness, and scientific research.

The lessons are taught experientially, and some are transferred through the technology of the digital planetarium and the use of professional telescopes.

These courses are taught by Ella Ratz- a professional instructor and member of the Israel Astronomical Society.

• Astronauts beginners for compulsory kindergarten age only (5-5.5)
• Astronomy and Earth Sciences for 1st and 2nd graders
• Young astronomers – the solar system for 2nd and 3rd graders
• Advanced astronomers – astronomical discoveries for fourth graders
• Older astronomers – the tools of astronomers for fifth, sixth and seventh graders
