Netanya in White

Netanya in White (July 25-26) is the name for the white night festivities. Twelve hours of performances, music, street plays and more. The list of artists expected to take part includes Mosh Ben-Ari with a sunrise concert, Elai Botner & The Outside Kids, a beach party dedicated to love with Mayumana, and a pajama party for kids so that they’ll also enjoy the fun. The events, which will take place in parallel throughout the city, will include nighttime tours at Netanya Museum, spectacular light displays, musical ensembles from all of Netanya’s sister cities, as well as a staging of the opera, Dan Giovanni. Along with all of this, telescope observations and star displays at Planetanya – The Madarame Center for Science, Space and Culture.

A variety of other events will also be held at Planetanya, in the city center, new Independence Square and the city’s public parks. Furthermore, throughout the summer, Netanya Museum will offer urban art tours as well as missions to discover Netanya’s history and children’s plays. Beit Habe’er Museum will host diverse activities and the community centers will offer performances, master workshops and a wide array of activity for teens and children.
