There is no other city with beaches like Netanya’s. 13,5 kilometers of golden beaches, some of the most beautiful in Israel. On the beaches there are restaurants, bathing facilities and various attractions.

The western-most part of Netanya is built on a sandstone ridge stretching from north to south and stands at a height of between 25 to 45 meters above sea level .

Netanya celebrates the 90th year
nternational festivals, street party for young people, white nights with sunrise and sunset concerts, hundreds of performers and original concerts – Netanya celebrates the summer. Shiri Maimon, Mosh Ben-Ari, Margol, Strong Black Coffee, Elai Botner & The Outside Kids, Idan Amedi, Netanya Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra – are but a few of the hundreds of singers, performers, ensembles, choirs and orchestras that will be taking part in the 2018 summer events in Netanya, marking Israel’s 70th anniversary and Netanya’s 90th anniversary.

In the middle of the summer, Netanya will celebrate two white nights on July 25-26 with performances by Ely Botner, the opera Don Giovanni, telescopic observations and stars displays in Planetanya, a pajamas party for children, a festival at Sironit Beach, a performance by Meyumana, night tours with the Netanya Museum, spectacular light displays, artistic ensembles from Netanya’s twin cities around the world, stands and a happening until morning light in the new Independence Square and various centers throughout the city.
The best Israeli artists, born in Netanya, will thrill us with a musical performance in honor of the 90th anniversary of Netanya and the 70th birthday of the State of Israel on July 12 in the new Independence Square.
The program includes musical combinations with the Netanya Dance Company “Havatzalot Netanya”, the Nitzan Choir of the Municipal Conservatory, the Tremolo Ensemble, the Netanya Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra and with the participation of the artists Yoni Ro’eh, Margol, Lior Miller, Izzy, Esther Rada, Dudu Erez, Ayala Ingdasht and others.
The Netanya “BEER” Festival returns to the city for the third time (8-9 August) with a variety of beers from around the world, performances, seating areas and a summer atmosphere in the new Independence Square.
