A cooperation agreement was signed on the 7th of April 2014 by Mayor Miriam Fierberg-Ikar and Mayor Ladislav Langr.
Podebrady is a spa city which is known as the best treatment for heart problems and it is located in Bohemia on the bank of the river Labe east of Prague. In the city a fortress built in the middle ages and attracts many tourists.
As part of the ties, reciprocal visits between schools from Netanya and Poděbrady have taken place.
